Kathy Wilson is the Case Manager and Research Director at Interisk. For more than 22 years, she has managed the firm’s extensive research library, assembled by Interisk founder Jim Robertson.

The collection of current and historical insurance materials is considered to be one of the best in the country, and ranges from books, articles, and reference materials, to reports and laws related to the insurance industry.

As case manager, Kathleen categorizes and reviews all documents received in connection with the firm’s cases. She summarizes depositions and exhibits, reviews outside expert reports, creates exhibits, and prepares documents required for production at trials and depositions.

As research director, Kathy conducts research for litigation assignments, providing support for opinions offered by Interisk experts. This includes reviewing information about insurance industry practices, current and historical insurance availability, and scope of primary and excess property and casualty coverages, current and historical market conditions, specimen policies dating to the late 1800s, and drafting history information related to key bureau forms.

Kathleen earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, California.

She is working to earn the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
